AS WE GOT IT FROM ,IT BEING STORED IN A BOX OUR SKIRT WAS CURLED A BIT ALSO.I OILED IT GOOD UNDER NEATH AND TIED A ROPE AROUND IT SNUG FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND IT FINE. LEATHER GET"S DRY SO, WHEN IT COMES IN YOU WANT TO OIL THAT BABY UP UNDER NEATH ALL THE LEATHERS. THIS IS A 5 STAR. EVERYONE SAY"S IT"S A PERTTY PIECE;I WOULD RECOMEND IT TO SOMEONE; IT DOES TAKE A BIT TO GET. THEIR MADE IN INDIA BUT, IT WILL FIND YA JUST FINE;THE ONLY DRAW BACK WS THE LEG FLAP MY SON IS SHORT. This is a whole new world of saddles today.I bought this one and, i love it.being handi cap it"s light.pretty. the picture does no justic to seeing it real.Forget the oil,polish & all the grief.Just wipe it clean.I did have some sliding but,once you find your right fittings on the belts it"s fine.The price is worth it;used a broom handle in the sturipps for a few days and good to go;I also have the plain Royal King, a older one and she"s heavy;I wront part with them;If you got kids? this is the best.We know how they throw things around.No maintaince on this saddle at all.Just wipe it off with a damp rag.
