Nice saddle for the price. I u

Nice saddle for the price. I usually ride in a 15" seat- but got a 16" and it was fine, a little roomy but not by much. And it fits my hard to fit quarter/arab mare. I wish the horn was long, but aside for that, I can"t really complain. I knew the horn was only 3". You have to oil the saddle a minimum of 3 times- it"s really stiff. And as you oil it, it will darken. I use only Neatfoot oil. It"s really what I expected for the price, maybe a little more. Meaning- the quality is a bit better than expected. If you"re looking for your first barrel saddle - this may be worth a try. The seat is no a rough out seat, it"s nice and padded. Even though it is a little big in the seat for me. I am 5"5"; 125 lbs. I haven"t really messed with the headstall/reins for chest piece since I have my go to headstall/reins and chest piece already.
